THE Afro-Asian Young Entrepreneurs Network

My idea for the Afro-Asian Young Entrepreneurs Network is a subsidiary of The Mediapreneur Network. It is an intercontinental hub that was birthed from a very personal experience. I had already built a successful community of young entrepreneurs in my home country through a registered NGO in Nigeria, and I was excited to shine the light globally. However, moving to India in 2022 to further my studies hit me with a different reality. Many young Africans in India were struggling. They didn’t have a strong community to support them, either online or in their careers. I heard stories of financial difficulties and challenges for African-led businesses. It was clear that just getting by was tough. I also faced financial challenges, which made me realise that changing government policies can take a long time. But we could do something right now to help ourselves. We could focus on building the skills we needed to succeed in Africa and working with our Asian counterparts to grow global economies. That’s how the Afro-Asian Young Entrepreneurs Network started. This is a hub where young African entrepreneurs can get the digital training, community support, and business guidance needed to thrive in any country or continent. It’s about empowering people with practical skills and building bridges for collaboration to achieve their goals and make a real impact. We invite you to contribute to the bigger picture.

OUR AGENDA

The Afro-Asian Young Entrepreneurs Network

Because Afro-Asian bilateral partnerships can contribute to a 15% increase in the global economy, we help African youth entrepreneurs in Asia through digital training, community, and entrepreneurship support to empower 100,000 employable and entrepreneurial youth by 2035.

African youths in Asia lack the digital skills and entrepreneurial support needed to build sustainable ventures and foster Afro-Asian economic collaboration. 
These result in limited economic growth and partnerships, creating a need for targeted digital training and entrepreneurship programs that bridge this gap and drive collaborative economic growth.

To reduce the rate of underemployment and economic instability affecting African Youths in Asia, The Afro-Asian Young Entrepreneurs Network will develop digital training and entrepreneurship programs and partner with local-led organisations to support internship placement, bilateral partnership and youth empowerment.

Reducing Social Inequality by empowering youths to become digitally skilled, enterprising and employable through bilateral collaboration and education.
